Who am I, and what is this?

Welcome to my blog. I use 'blog' in the loosest sense of the word, because it's actually more just an online thought catalogue of things I'm doing that involve clothes. But why clothes, you ask?

Short version: I used to be very overweight and looking good is important to me. For someone who spent a long time not feeling great, dressing well and defining my personal style has helped me build the confidence I lacked in my teens.

But enough about me. This blog is also for you guys. I'm lucky enough to live in Zurich, Switzerland - one of the most expensive cities in the world, where people dress well and don't compromise on price. Which is all well and good, but what if you want to dress well and not break the bank?

This is my quest: to look great and still have enough cash to avoid overdraft-induced panic attacks.

So, follow me. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful. Or, at the very least, vaguely amusing.
